Hi Peter,

The risk that people in the organization will think "Oh, ok, not my problem, the managers will manage all knowledge (and information)" is very high. I experience it on a regular basis at our office (I keep explaining how it really is, but somehow it is hard to understand and it keeps coming back). So, if I could rename things I would definitely not choose for KM manager, Knowledge Manager, KM Specialist, etc. but would choose a term that feels like, it is more supportive to the organization.
I like the term 'facilitator'.

I also wouldn't choose for champion, because in my opinion, the champions should be the knowledge workers themselves.
