The problem with analyzing social networks is that you find only the expertise which is frequently used – which means it’s more common – which means that it’s not the critically high value

One suggestion is to perform social network analysis on an organization tosee who people actually go to when they have a question. An expert whoisn't part of a busy communication path probably is not
