people, supporting the needs of all the manufacturing facilities
worldwide.

Note 1: This position needs a Senior Principle level, individual
technical contributor type person who is a Subject Matter Expert
(SME) on some knowledge management technologies.

Note 2: This person will not be supervising any direct reports or
managing major projects. Client is not looking for a person who has
only project or department management experience with no recent hands
on technical experience.

Note 3: The successful candidate can come from functions like large
scale manufacturing IT (for technology), regulatory affairs (for huge
documentation exposure) and development (for process management).

Job Description:

50% Provide Process Knowledge Management ¡V Best Practices
„X Process Knowledge Management including advanced enterprise
search, navigation and information retrieval, Communities of Practice
and Knowledge Repositories.
„X Enterprise Master Data for product information and its
relevance consumption to support KM efforts.
„X Develop solutions while leveraging all IT services as
appropriate. Integrate these solutions into the enterprise and PGM
application domains. Ensure all solutions are suitably aligned with
our other solutions.
„X Work cross functionally within corporate & client to
standardize the approach to core and common solutions.
„X Subject matter expertise on search technologies for
enterprise search, collaboration, communities of practice etc

25% Execute above initiatives on Global basis
„X Manage the project life cycle for these solutions to include,
analysis, requirements, planning, design, construction, validation,
training, maintenance, support and enhancement.
„X Co-ordinate the input into the definition of solutions and
enhancements of solutions. Ensure that development deliverables are
consistent with global and site strategies.
„X Support the implementation of these solutions.
„X Manage and coordinate vendor resources and activities to
support these systems where required.
25% Interface with others: Interface with internal customers,
external contractors & contract manufacturers etc.
Candidate Must Have:

„X BS degree in Engineering, Science or related
„X Minimum 10 years of professional experience in manufacturing
industry.
„X 5 years of technical leadership experience.
„X 1+ year experience with knowledge management for complex
processes in any manufacturing environment.
„X The successful candidate must have a good understanding of KM
standards, evolving KM and collaboration technologies that impact
pharma development and manufacturing.
„X A proven ability to communicate concepts and gain alignment
across a diverse customer base is essential.
„X Experience working with multicultural teams, to facilitate
and build consensus. Ability to interact with management, customer,
outside agencies and internal department as required.
„X Excellent oral and written communication skills with
demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex issues
clearly and concisely.

Candidate-Nice to Have:

„X Experience with new product approval, launch & process
improvement cycle.
