KMKS01 Introduction to Knowledge Management and Knowledge Services

knowledge and learning in the workplace. Topics covered include:

• definitions of knowledge management and knowledge services
• knowledge management and knowledge services in the
corporate/organizational management environment
• the role of knowledge management and knowledge services in building
the knowledge culture for the parent organization

Course Learning Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will acquire a history of
knowledge management and knowledge services; they will also examine
and analyze descriptions and concepts related to knowledge management
and knowledge services. Participants will be able to identify and
summarize definitions of knowledge management and knowledge services.
Participants will also be able to define the role of knowledge
management and knowledge services in the corporate/organizational
management environment and recognize the role of knowledge management
and knowledge services in building the knowledge culture for the
parent organization.
