AI-Based Knowledge Extraction: Challenges and Opportunities #AI #extraction
Dear SIKMers
Greetings!
Along with the development of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and advent of artificial agents in organizations/ industries, the new paradigms such as Machine Learning is becoming more dominant. As a result, the knowledge that is created in mainly automated processes becomes more apparent.
A serious question for knowledge management professionals is how to balance the involvement of human agents with intelligent agents (AI-enabled) in knowledge extraction.
Do we need to review organizational guidelines? Should a new perspective on knowledge creation and extraction be defined? Where is the place of human agents in this process? What is the new task of knowledge managers?
With Best Wishes

Hello Mohammad,
This is indeed a popular topic. Are you interested in any specific scenarios balancing human involvement with AI? If you haven't already, you can also take a look at some recent discussions about KM and AI in this group, including a presentation by Tony Rhem earlier this year: https://sikm.groups.io/g/main/search?q=%23AI&ct=1 Susan |

Thank you Susan for letting me know? Yes I am interested in knowing more about this. Regards MH |
